Rest In Peace
Remember that one time that we.....

Here's where it will get interesting, share your memories with everyone and read others memories.

I'm sure we're going to get some stories that will get some comversations going.

Wayne Harris

I remember the first time I met the Harris's. Years and years and years ago.....I was a brownie in the Girlscouts and out meetings were held at the Fern Creek Methodist Chrurch at the corner of Bardstown Rd. and Seatonville Rd. Well ever so often we were allowed outside to play for a bit which is where Wayne and Keith came in.They decided it was a good idea to walk their dog through there, the dog would start barking scaring the girls up on the playground equipment and the Harris's in turn would look up the girls dresses. Since then we have spent many years in school getting to know exactly what great people they are.

David Kegebein

David was, and is, a huge Green Bay fan. Anyone who was close to him knew that about him. Well when he and I started dating it was during football season, and I also love football but was not a Packers fan. David invited me to the lions den, Dutch's, which is a huge Packers bar, to watch the Packers against the Eagles which happened to be my team at the time, I've learned since then. Now I should say at this time that neither David nor myself took loosing very well......at all. At the beginning of the game he had made a comment "I don't know how much you know about football, so if you don't know something you can ask". As you can imagine I took the slightest humor in this and decided to play along. It's no secrete that The Pack handed us that game, they should have won, but they didn't. So while the whole bar was after blood I was teasing David after a touchdown by saying "Did we do something good there ?", and "We got some more points". He waa ready to strangle me. I thought I might be walking home. When he dropped me off that evening, I gave him a good night kiss, and made sure I had everything by checking off my list, purse, phone, WIN, yup, I've got everything ! He responded by telling me to get out. Lol ! Well, I am now a Packers fan, he hath shone me the way. I enjoyed watching games with David and wish I still could.

David Kegebein =contributed by Amy Alcorn

I remember the night or should I say morning, that Dave and Angel started talking kinda. I think it was Christmas time I don't know. Well anyways everyone was over to the house and we were all drunk, imagine that well me and Dave were the only to left awake. Well he tried to make a bed out of my four kitchen chairs, well that didn't work. so we started talking, and come to find out he had a crush. so finally I got it out of him,it was Angel, he wanted to call her mind you it was very early in the morning. I think I called her or maybe he did. Well she was at work and they ended up talking and that's that.

Follow up to this story contributed by Angel White

I can clarify things a little bit for you. At that time he and I had been talking for about 2 weeks but he was very shy, I was the initiator. The first night we “started talking” was also at your house the night of Chris’s Lord of the Rings after party. Melinda and I had come over and she spent most of the night talking to a very drunk Scott, I on the other hand sat, freezing to death on your couch watching the guys play that Rocky boxing game. After a while I was extremely tired and asked David to come and be my pillow, he obliged. When I woke up he had relinquished his jacket to cover me up. When Melinda and I left that night I wanted so badly to come back in and kiss him but I didn’t know what his “situation” was, and I think you know what I’m talking about.

But the morning you’re talking about I was at work and it was the day after Christmas and he wanted to call me but he didn’t want to disrespect me and call while he was still drunk so you called for him. After you and I talked for a minute you forced him on the phone and we talked for a little bit. He later came down to the Water Co. and brought me 2 dozen pink roses and a card because I had been having a bad day. He was truly a romantic and I miss & love him very much.
